Newbie Looking for advice on a good humidor to buy

Hi guys,

I just started getting into this a few weeks ago. Rather than using bags, I would like to invest in a humidor. I have seen a few at the local shop which are nice, but I wanted to ask you guys a few things first.

1) Is there a better (and less expensive place to find a humidor of the same or better quality for less $$$)?

2) What should I look for in a good humidor? I know that I want a good seal and cedar lining, but is there anything else?

3) I was told that the hand made units are the way to go...Is this true? I want the unit to last for a long time, and I also want it to look very nice so I can put it on display on my desk.

4) How hard are one of these to setup and maintain?

Are there any specific brands that you can recommend? I saw a Savoy at one of my local stores, but is their anything else as good or better for around the same $$$.

I am sorry for being that guy that asks "What unit should I get", but I am totally green here, and I don't want to buy a piece of crap either. My budget is between 75.00-150.00, although I will go higher for something if it is of noticiably better quality.

Thanks for your help guys,
Fred
