35" high cast resin cigar store Indian...
... available from Sportsman's Guide. Got their advert. e-mail yesterday and saw this among the antler and Nascar stuff:
---------- Nostalgic 35" Cigar Store Indian... $45.00 OFF! Over 150 years ago, originals were handcarved from solid mahogany. By 1860, the Cigar Store Indian was THE customary sign for tobacconists. It's believed the Indian was chosen because Native Americans first introduced settlers to cigars. This is a cast resin sculpture finished in beautifully elaborate detail. He is dressed in a stars and stripes knee-length wrap, red, white and black feathered headdress, leggings and moccasins. He holds a bundle of cigars in his left hand. Approx. 12 1/4 x 8 1/2 x 35 1/4" h. Weighs 9 lbs. ---------- I tried to post the link, but it kept coming up linked with MY basket, so I'll just give the stock # and name: E527E-88834 - 35" Cigar Store Indian ... and let you know it's at sportsmansguide.com. Item is on sale at $69.97... shipping likely $14-16 or so, I'd guess...
