The cigar has a rich brown wrapper. The cold draw is perfect . No discernible flaws.

The opening flavors are cocoa and loam. That shouldn’t be read as chocolate soil. The cocoa notes are light and the loam notes are, for a lack of a better descriptor, rich like potting soil. The burn is even and the ash solid.

In the first third some wood notes (more oak than cedar) over the loam with the cocoa fading. The bourbon is enhancing the woody notes with just a hint of sweetness. The cigar continues to be even with a solid ash.

During the second third some light spices joined the flavor profile with a touch of pepper in the retrohale. Still burning even.

Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains medium bodied with lots of flavor. 9.0, Joe Bob says check it out.
