That shape is called cherrywood for some reason, don't know why. It does have a particularly tall bowl, so it holds more tobacco, but doesn't smoke any different than any other pipe I have with a similar ID. Some particularly tall pipes are sometimes called a stack or chimney, but I wouldn't consider this one tall enough.
