I gotta agree. I haven't had that many cigars that I really didn't like, and mostly, that's because they were just too damned strong. I try really hard to find something to like about everything I smoke.

Gurkha has been a whole different story. The blends have never really appealed to me, there have always been quality issues, it seems, and all down the line, item by item, they have just appeared to be an inferior product for a top dollar price.

When we did reviews for CM, what struck me the most was out of the 14 or so cigars, no two were exactly the same. I swear that a couple lines didn't even use the same wrapper tobacco on both specimens; the color was way the hell off, the smell was way off, and neither one of them smoked or tasted like the other. There was only one line out of the batch that really impressed me.

IF THE INFORMATION ABOUT WHO ACTUALLY ROLLED THEM WAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE,

I'd probably never, ever buy a product from that maker again.
