New morta squat author pipe, crazy heavy rusticated
I have had my eye on a Savinelli Author pipe for a long time. But these pipes are rather large, around 6 inches long, with a 1.5 inch bowl depth and heavily walled. The stem is usually thick and tapered like a thick wedge. Here's a pic of a Savinelli Author style pipe.
I wanted this style but a smaller version and a thinner stem with a slight bend. Martin at C Pipes made this pipe and it was perfect for what I was looking for. It is a smaller version of an Author pipe,. I wanted a small pipe for smoking the very strong tobaccos that are best smoked in a small bowl pipe. This pipe is a Morta wood pipe, with a German Vulcanite black and brown stem. It is 4 inches long with a bowl size of 0.75 inch (inner diameter) x 1.18 inch (bowl depth). The bowl is thick walled and has a crazy heavy rusticated finish. This pipe can rest on a table without tipping over. This pipe can take the heat. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
