It's been a really fun journey so far. The custom blends from my local shop have been great and the Stokkebye 52 Proper is growing on me. My packs still need work. I'm getting 20-30 minutes with one or two relights, but I still feel like they are too loose. I guess I just have to keep practicing.
Looking to add a second block Meer to my rotation and I am completely overwhelmed. I've been gravitating toward Meerschaum Market and Royal Meerschaum and I'm looking to spend around $150. I have the style narrowed it down to a bent version of either a Dublin, a Rhodesian or a Bulldog. Not big on the ornate lattice or carving and just like the plainer smoother versions. Decisions need to be made. |
