Division Winners

Who do you think is going to win each Division??

Northwest- COLORADO (Vancouver is going to fall off)
Central- DETROIT (don't think St. Louis can catch them)
Pacific- STARS (Who could catch them?)

Northeast- OTTAWA (League leaders, but for how long?)
Atlantic- NEW JERSEY (Philly is almost there, but the Devils will hold them off)
Southeast- WASHINGTON (Caps might fall apart, but I doubt it vs. this division)

Presidents Trophy- DALLAS ( I think the Sens are going to drop a few they shouldn't and since Dallas is playing so phenominally to the head of the class they go. Coming from me that's pretty high praise considering my team)

Just my thoughts, would love to hear your opinions.

Gonna be a dog fight for #1 in the Northwest, Rhino..... If Avs can stay healthy and PR gets in a groove, they will be tough.... But I'm gonna give the edge to Vancouver there.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see the Stars get into a bit of a funk within the next week.

As far as the rest go, you're looking good !

Finally, we all know where the Cup is going to stay, right?

I agree with you on the division winners. I believe Colorado will catch Vancouver. They are within 5 points and have a game or two in-hand. It also looks like Vancouver's in a bit of a slump.

But, know this----I still hate the Av's

Go Wings!!!!!

Dooh,
I'll forgive you for that thought!!

The Wings are , but respectable.

Vancouver is down to their third string goaltender last night, cause Aubin got schooled and Ohlund is down for an indetermined amount of time, I think they are in a hurting place right now. Too bad for them ..a.a.ahahahaha...... They got beat by COLUMBUS!!!!

Boys I don't know if anyone else has done the math, but with 7-9 games left in the regualr season it looks as if the races for some division titles is going to come down to EVERYTHING the statisticans keep track of. Wins, Ties, Losses, GF, GA, hell... they could even start with team size to break some of these down to who wins....

It's going to be fun, exciting and just plain painful for these last three weeks.. OUCH!!

I love this shit.

As of today here's a run down of remaining games for leaders in the west. None of them have a particularly brutal schedule. This could go any direction, especially if all teams stay healthy. My vote is Vancouver will hang on and winthe NW, Detroit will win the Central (and likely the conference) and Dallas for the Pacific. President's trophy... hard call. I'm going to stick with Ottawa for it.

Vancouver (97 points, 4 Home 3 Away)
  • Washington (Home)
  • Dallas (Home)
  • Phoenix (Home)
  • LA (Away)
  • Anaheim (Away)
  • Phoenix (Away)

Colorado: (91 points, 5 Home, 4 Away)
  • Chicago (Home)
  • Buffalo (Away)
  • Ottawa (Away)

  • San Jose (Home)

Dallas: (97 points, 5 Home, 3 Away)
  • Minnesota (Home)

  • Vancouver (Away)
  • Calgary (Away)

  • Anaheim (Home)
  • Nashville (Home)

St Louis: (93 points, 5 Home, 4 Away)

All I know is that Detroit is surging and Dallas appears to have peaked to soon. Here's hoping our G comes back soon.
