Yeah--Country Fisherman is good for lunch. A little over-priced, but the food is excellent--good Southern cooking.

BoDon's close to my house is half the price; the food is pretty good; they always have fried green tomatoes--very good.

Keep going Tommy. I'm getting better at self-control and patience. I'll see ya'll soon.

I had some bad gumbo last night: the roux was very light brown, okra threads, canned shrimp. You can always tell when someone that THINKS gumbo is easy trys to cook it. They never get the roux dark enough, or, worse yet, like my Mom's, it comes out orange. And most people don't have the heart to tell them the truth. I had some beans and rice, too. The "cook" wanted to call them "red beans and rice", but all it contained was pinto beans, black pepper, and roast beef chips. Very good, but NOT red beans and rice.
