I too thought Camacho would age well since they were very strong cigars. I'm really surprised to hear they got bland over time.

The new ones are bland even when young.

Since Christian dropped the Davidoff connection, leaving Camacho, which is essentialy Griffins now. The only one that Davidoff has released since that I'll still smoke from time to time, the triple maduro.

Davidoff is on record saying that their tobacco only ages effectively for 7 years. Obviously to me, they weren't talking about most Cubans.

I find that the Black Label do well with age, although I doubt I keep them that long (a few will make it to 3 years, I can say more about it after). Also, fortunately, the Mombachos/Diplomaticos are holding nicely at 9 years.
