Miami Trip

I am sked to be in Miami at the end of the month (Jan) for a business trip. Beside Don Pepin's place what are the gotta-dos while there? Thanks

Smoke Inn in Boynton Beach is a great cigar lounge/store... they have locations elsewhere in the area, too.

OK, I have never been, but many others here have.
Begin by making a map, many cigar companies have a retail presence in Little Havana, and some a bit away.

Cuban Crafters
Puros Indios
El Credito (original home of La Gloria Cubana)
Padilla ( If I remember correctly)
Pepin/My Father

And I know there are more, I also know that Perdomo is way up in Miami Lakes. Padron has a place in Miami as well.

Here's an old thread, from 2007

I saw that in the older thread, as well.

Don't forget mikes, and corona, if they are still there. too bad JC newman is in tampa.

Personally, I'd skip both of those.

Tommy, did you know that you had an article for CW about them Cuba aliados on wikipedia?

There is an area in Miami called either Little Havana or Little Cuba, I don't remember which. But, there are plenty of local cigar makers along a three block strip.

When I was down there, most of them handed out a freebie.

Little Havana, Calle Ocho (8th St.) is the main drag through there.

Brian, thanks, mate.
