The band should have no impact on the blend/flavor of the cigar - unless they changed that too. It's getting to be a battle of the bands, if you will, in the B&M humidors. What will catch your eye...

Now, as to the Camacho cigars? I have 2 left of the triple maduro - got them in an online contest / offer before they were released, so like 5 years ago. Tasty, but one dimensional and YAH, so strong. So very very strong...

I tend to avoid the Camacho line simply because they're all just a nicotine punch in the gut away from a vomit fest for me.

That's interesting to me because I don't like nicotine bombs either, but I always loved the Camacho corojo and Diplomas. Now, I'd be embarrassed to hold one of those cheesey bands in my hand.

Has the line really changed flavors, or as you guys have aged, your taste buds changed?

It used to be a rich, complex smoke, one of the closet to a habanos IMO. Now they are pretty darn bland.

Camacho

Working down a box of 3X Comacho Maduros 60-ring, mild flavor and full strength. A couple months mellowed them nicely, but this will be the last I will ever purchase.
