Indian Mysore Nuggets - Extra Bold
Never had Indian coffee. Burman's description says "unique flavor."
That worries me. What's the real story? Mark

Haven't tried this lot yet, Mark, but this is a coffee I have definitely enjoyed in the past. If I had to put a descriptor to the "unique" flavor I've gotten from it it would be spice...maybe cardamom? Very subtle, not like something added. Bottom line: Give it a try if you've never had it before.
---- Sweet Maria's has a new lot of the Konga in, pretty late harvest for an Ethiopian. I'll report mid-week.

I just ordered another 2 lb of this on Burman's sale. This months newsletter has a bunch of really good bargains!

I gotta be honest and tell you this particular coffee is not for me. In no way am I calling it bad, it's just not for my personal tastes. I'd encourage anyone to try it, you might like it.

What is it that you don't like? I roast it right to the first snap of second crack and then let it rest about 36 hours... Love the fruity chocolate notes

It's been awhile since I have had any Mysore but I enjoyed what I had in the past. It is on the brighter side of coffees if my memory serves me right.

Don't mean to thread jack but thanks for the heads up Doug on the Konga! I am almost out of the last purchase of Konga and it has become my favorite coffee of the beans that I currently have. I believe that I'll just grab me a little to see how it is!

You sure you're not thinking about Monsooned Malabar, Todd? "Odd funkiness in the background" is exactly how I'd describe that one, but I don't get it in the Mysore.
