Not a great result, but it certainly could have been worse than a draw down there. Might have won anyway had the ref not stopped Altidore from scoring by calling that "foul"..

Refereeing a USA match in Central America is akin to poll watching in Philadelpihia, Boston, Detroit, etc. You know there are going to be "dubious" calls... but they will be totally non-partisan. RIIIIIHT!

Honestly, shouldn't we dominate a tiny country in nearly any sport by virtue of the size of the talent pool from which we draw?

This is like saying Michigan dominated Middlebury College in football, but looked terrible doing so. That being the case, I would suspect that Michigan is not very good, would struggle mightily against an equal or greater opponent like Ohio State.
