Those are some of the beans JG sent a bunch of us. These were the Kenya AA something (don't feel like getting up right now) and they smell wonderful tonight. I can't wait to grind them in the morning, the aroma is going to be heavenly!

OMG is this stuff good! I roasted the batch at three different levels; just into first crack, well into first crack, just into second crack to get a variety of flavors and this bean did not disappoint! In fact I have to use less of the normal measure otherwise it's far too strong.

Oh, and Elkie...

I am NOT ready for 87 but I will take 70 all year long.

I still dont know what's first crack vs second really since this nesco is all timed cycles, and surely lower temp than you air popper. But damn I love fresh roasted coffee. Thanks james. The kenya aa was just about the first gone.

But now I bought about ten pounds from burman and doug hit me with 8 more.... yummy stuff all!

I think so far the Kenya AA is the most flavorful but there are a couple I haven't roasted yet.
