400 pissed off Superbowl fans

My understanding is there were temporary seats, which had not yet passed safety inspection.
IMO, selling seats BEFORE they passed inspection, is like selling a product you don't have, or is not legal to sell yet.
They are offering fans a refund, 3x the ticket price. One fan has stated to the media, he believes it's fraud.
Whether it is or not, I know I'd be pissed if I were in his shoes. This guy had flown in from Baltimore..to the SUPER BOWL, thinking he had a seat.

Way to go Jerry!

As much disdain as I have for JJ, he can't be blamed for that snafu.

The NFL controls every aspect of the Super Bowl and they deserve the blame.

Still....seats were sold, BEFORE..they were approved. I'd say, even if it isn't Jerry's fault, he'll get ALL the blame, and probably some legal action.

This could be one of those rare occasions where the plaintiff's bar could serve a good purpose.

What part of every in my previous post did I not make clear?

JJ and the Dallas Cowboys did not offer, sell, order construction of, or fail to deliver the seats in any way shape or form.

Really!!! Do people purchase homes before they are built? Condos? Season tickets to stadiums that are under construction??

Of course they do.

The NFL makes all of the decisions for the Game at the End of the Season (So as not to infringe) Jerry Jones gets a set $ for the facility. Ticket prices, concessions, everything else goes to the NFL.

Jones sold tickets outside the stadium to watch the game on T.V., because he got to keep that money.

Really?? People who watch sports and don't understand the financial aspect of the game do not understand why teams do what they do or why leagues act in the fashion they do.

But of course I suspect you would also sue the airline that couldn't get you to Dallas (North Texas - Arlington) for the game because of the weather!!

Sometimes life just sucks - Deal with it!

No argument.
My only defense is I hadn't slept much last night, and haven't had my coffee, when I read your post.
So really..no defense.

What pissed me off was watching and listening to Christina Aguilera massacre our National Anthem. Puleeeeze already, stop inviting her to sing it. Having her scream the song and otherwise destroy it was disgraceful.

I realize the Star Spangled Banner is a difficult song to sing even without bollixing the lyrics (!), so get someone who can sing it especially for such a prominent venue like the Super Bowl.
