Made tea for the first time tonight
I started drinking green tea a couple months ago after my Interpreter suggested I try a cup at a restaurant run by an afghan on our base. I had never drunk hot tea in my life until then. A number of nights I have stopped into the restaurant for a cup of tea instead of my after dinner coffee. The restaurant actually burned to the ground this weekend but luckily for my tea drinking habit my Terp had arranged for the owner who was away at the time to bring us some tea leaves and the cookies we eat with our Tea. So tonight I got adventurous and made my first cup of tea and have to say I made a good cup of tea so I think I will keep this habit.

I'm real sorry to hear about that restaurant burning down. Very cool hobby though brother! Tea is just like coffee. All the mixing/blending you can do, could keep you busy for the rest of your life
