Cal - USC
Every year I make the same bet with Doug and every year I send him a fiver. Perhaps I'm a glutton for punishment but...another fiver? USC is favored by 22.5, I'll take Cal with the points.

Maybe if they let Cal use 12 players this year... and you get the points.

I'd love to, but I lost all my money on the Ducks. |

I didn't see it live, but on ESPN there was a clip about a questionable TD by USC.
ESPN said the ball was dropped, it was not a TD, and should have been reviewed. But was not. So USC get's a TD. I'm not a USC fan or foe. But geez...in the SEC games, we seem to get reviews every other play. If there was some doubt whether this was a TD in a close game, why was it not reviewed? And there was some doubt. ESPN was pretty definitive, that the USC player did not make the catch. A shame. We have instant replay and use it so many times when it's not really needed. Then on a critical play..nothing?

It was definitely dropped. Plus a phantom illegal man downfield play against us to bring a TD back. The score was 17-3 at the end, but it was much closer of a game. Next year, I'm betting the house.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know it's one thing for you team to get beat, but to have it stolen from them?
Sure, the Refs on the field could have missed it. That's why there's friggin' instant replay. They had all the same shots that everyone else did. They couldn't at least review it???? STINKS to high heaven!

Plus there was a defensive holding call. I thought that was an automatic first down. But we only got two plays out of it. Pac-10 really wants USC to try and make the championship game.
