Pepin Garcia Fresh Rolled Cigars

Pepin Garcia was at the Cigar King here in Arizona for 3 days last week, rolling some outstanding cigars. I picked up a bunch of beautiful diademas, salomones, and giant toros. It was a great pleasure to watch the man work, and I have to say that his smokes are the closest to Cubans I've had. The wrappers are some of the most beautiful, oily, and appealing I have ever seen -- they remind me of the best Lusitanias in appearance, although Pepin's smokes are much stronger. I plan to include a lot more of his handiwork in my rotation, after they've had some time to age -- they are massive, young smokes now. Anyway, if you ever have an opportunity to watch this man work, I highly recommend it.

No link. As far as more info, he was rolling the "house blends" of the retailer, all of which are full bodied. If I ever get a digital camera that takes good pictures, I'll take photos of the cigars I got -- they really are beautiful. 12 bucks for a salamones rolled by a master seems like a great deal to me.

I agree - would have been there for sure. Was this advertised somewhere and I missed it?

The house bundles he rolls for Top Shelf are the strongest full bodied bundles I've had.
