I just read that the other day. I still have about 3 lbs. left, so I'll definitely go easy on it for awhile.
In the meantime, I discovered a new great blend. Blended 2-1 Kenyan Peaberry to Honduran La Tigre. The Kenyan roasted on the darker side, and the La Tigre on the lighter side of second crack. Mmmm... Great cup!

Well...I guess I can ask... It's not like nobody knows about S.M.
How close is S.M.'s Boli Org. to CBC's? It is way cheaper.

Well, shoot. This is a sad day indeed.
Happily, what with the Nicaragua Laguna Verde and the Kenya Mweiga being as good as they are, we're in pretty good shape, I think. Still...... MD

Emmo, I've had the two Bolivians from SM's also and they don't compare, at least imho. Good coffees, but just not the same. You know that just because it's the same origin, doesn't make it the same. Look at all the Kenyan AA's and peaberries out there now. All different flavor profiles from different areas and plantations.
That Bolivian Organic at CBC was arguably among the top three best coffees of the last year. I'm gonna miss the hell out of it.

Damn wish I would have known that it was about to go. I only got about a pound left.
I guess it's time to move on and try the Nicaragua Laguna Verde.

don't forget the Rwandan at CBC, it's another awesome coffee
differnt than the Nic Laguna Verde, but both are excellent so there is more and the new crops are coming in, Bolivina may be on the list later on , but the new crops are arriving daily.
