Hygrometers
I'm looking for a good hygrometer to put in my ammodor. I trust my climax tubos, but not the box itself. What would you recommend? Is it worth it to get a digital hygrometer? Anybody have a spare lying around that we could trade for? I've actually got enough gars now to trade.

If you have the room, you can pick one up at Wallmart for about $15.
If you need something smaller, you can get a pen style at Bargain Humidors for $24.99 Little Havana digital hygrometer

Why not? They work and they are accurate. Apparently better than some more expensive ones.

Absolutely Mine works great and I would buy another one in a second An inexpensive digital that beats the crap out of any analog one I have ever had any experience with.

Just because you buy something at Wally World doesn't mean it's crap.

nah
my problem w/ the wal mart ones are the materials they are made out of. also, wal mart sells the very cheapest quality ones you can buy. surely you can go a few steps higher. for $15 its a good buy and yes it does a good job next to an analog that comes with most mass produced humidors--but do your self a favor and spend the extra...you do get what you pay for and for crying out loud...your cigars are worth it (i hope)! im only talking $25 here people...
and some analogs can be quite accurate! they are mainly used for asthetic reasons though. SR@ havana |
