Help me cook the perfect Turkey for Thanksgiving

Anyone want to share your favorite oven cooked turkey recipes? I'm looking to try something different this year and looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Temp, not time. First breast side down. When it reaches about 120 in the thigh, flip it and cook until 165. Turkey doesn't have salmonella like chicken, so you don't have to cook the bejeezus out of it. Let rest for 20 minutes before carving. Keeps the juice in the bird, not on the carving board.

Interesting. I've never heard of starting the turkey upside down and then flipping it. Seems like it makes sense though. Thanks!

Just be careful. The body cavity holds a lot of very hot juices, so be extra careful flipping it.
