The Cats tried to give it away but the football gods smiled on them. They were down to the third level of the depth chart at several defensive backfield positions. Losing Malik Knowles for the second half really hurt. He's been one of the most consistent offensive weapon this year.

Max Duggan is a warrior. It's a shame he had to lose.

TCU should still be one of the four teams but we shall see. An argument can be made that Bama playing in the SEC is a much bigger task than TCU in the B12.

Perhaps, but TCU isn't a real draw for an audience. Bama and Ohio State are. The money enters the discussion at some point.
