Noah's Mill

Gents its Christmas and I have received a bottle of this fine hooch. One of the best bourbons I have sampled bar none. Small batch. 114 proof. A tiny splash of H20 to loosen things up a bit. Its rye heavy and wheated. Interesting as hell. Complex. Its got a sweet arrival, figs and berries. Long finish. Oaky, nutty and vanilla. Pretty amazing. Excuse me while I get up into this a bit.

Merry Christmas.

Sounds good. But at 114 it sounds like it would burn?

Sounds very good. Maybe a few ice cubes?

Personal preference. Just a bit of room temp water. I got a few sticks also. I need to decide on what to pair with this elixir. Maybe a more in depth accounting of this spirit is in order.

The last bottle of Noah's Mill I had seemed to 'disappear' rather quickly.

A very balanced Bourbon, indeed, whether sipped on the rocks, with a drop or two of water or simply as it pours!

This is my first acquaintance with this one. Loving it.

Funny -
That's the exact proof of Wild Turkey Rare Breed...
I find that just about as high as I can go too... son just gave me a bottle of bookers that clocks in at 128...

I'll open that later!
