from our perspective, and I say Our in general terms with the assumption that there are not many in our group who's income exceeds 1m per year....
This is rediculous.
And we can slam the maker, or the buyer, or both all damned day.

At the end of the day, it's no more ridiculous than going to aBeverly hills spa and getting a facial for 500$..

it's capitalism.
You got a product (and I have to guess that 18 year old tobacco has some holding / aging costs) and you got a buyer.

Just like starbucks burnt some coffee beans, decided to open a shop that specialized in espresso and latte drinks, and made bank on the 'panache' of being the cool and hip place to drink coffee.

Do you remember when brilliant entrepreneurs sold rich, bored old people trips to the uranium mines out west as a health spa? Go to wyoming, inhale radium, fill your lungs with radioactive particles. Then PAY ME and get your ass off of my land.

Oh, correct that. You're going into a decommissioned toxic processing facility.

PAY ME FIRST!
