I liked Mick Ronson a lot when he was with Bowie, but Mott,,,not so much. A shame he died so young.

Wow that brings back memories. I remember seeing Ronson playing with Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Review.

In my past - father-in-law owned a cool sound recording in NYC from the late 70's to the mid-90's. Had the pleasure to meet and hang with Mick Ronson and Ian Hunter (when they recorded Your Never Alone with a Schizophrenic - with "hit" single Cleveland Rocks). They were 2 of the nicest, regular guys. Ian was very outgoing, Mick very shy. Always liked their music together... RIP Mick...

Been playing lately with a new guitarist who's into Bowie. We're doing Ziggy Stardust & Moonage Daydream which both had great guitar work from Mick. My favorite was his playing on the album The Man Who Sold The World. I liked Bowie's 12 string acoustic guitar on that album too.
