I haven't paid attention to events since the race (and really, the only reason I even watched the race was the Triple Crown implications).

Even so, I hope the horse is OK. It's hard to imagine such as finish without a bad outcome.

The Vets say that he is 100% healthy. I just think that it wasn't his day to race. He was rather jumpy in his stall earlier in the day. It was hot as hell out. The Belmont is a 1/4 mile longer than the Derby. Running 3 races in 5 weeks is a lot to expect from a horse as well.

Well if Jockey ran the horse until he made himself lame the jockey would have caught holly hell for that too....
