Riesling rocks... Riesling rules!
OK. Unlike the wines he's tasting, you may think him just a 'little over the top'. That said, I do share his incredible enthusiasm for German Rieslings. And there's no doubting that 2005 is a banner year. As for his take on the Nahe and Rheinhessen samples not quite standing up to the pair of Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wines, all I can say is that I'd be very interested to see how he feels two or a few years down the road. Yes, they're great when relatively young and fresh. But give them time, and amazing things can happen...
