What's your favorite C&D blend?
I haven't tried any but just placed an order for a tin of Sam's Blend, Safe Harbor Flake, and 2 oz of Crooner.
Damn...now I need a Bing's Favorite.

So far I've only tried the Safe Harbor - If you're a burley fan I think you'll really like it.
Let me know what you think of the Crooner, I've been a little hesitant of delving into anything with deer tongue. My next order I plan to include either some Haunted Bookshop or Old Joe Krantz.

Eh, as old as Bing lived, I'm pretty sure deer tongue is safe to smoke.

I have yet to find a C&D blend i like. I'm trying to remember some of the ones I have tried, but only remember Yello Dog, whis is by far the worst thing I have ever tried.

I, too, like Autumn Evening. Nice aromatic. Star of the East is another great one as is Bow Legged Bear and Briar Fox. i'm interested in trying Da Vinci, Sam's Blend, Blockade Runner, Black Frigate and Pennington's Gap.

Ok, just got my order today. Haven't smoked any of them, but here are my initial impressions....
Crooner: Hmmm...cube-cut burley is a new one on me. Not sure how to load this one. Smells...interesting. Not at all bad, but not your standard vanilla flavoring. This will be my morning drive smoke tomorrow, I'm thinking. Safe Harbor Flake: More of a Safe Harbor Broken Flake, actually. Came in a tin which I opened up to find the tobacco balled up and surrounded in a paper wrap. Opened up the paper and this seemed to be more of a crumble cake, than anything. Nice tin aroma. This will be my after dinner smoke tomorrow night. Entire clan is going to the local seafood restaurant. All you can eat snow crab. Sam's Blend: I didn't buy this one for me. Ordered it for my brother who had to put his dog "Sam" down a few years back and it reminded me of him. Thought he'd like it. Description sounds pretty good. Hoping to snag a bowl. Anyway...that's it so far. Oh, Phil...I opened the bag of Crooner and took a deep whiff. Dunno what's in this stuff but my heart started racing, sweat broke out on my forehead, I could feel my temples throbbing, and I felt really light-headed. Kidding.
