I'll Drink to That! What is your favorite beverage to have with a cigar? Juice? Cola? Beer? Port? Single Malt Scotch? This room is for the discussion of beverages, especially alcoholic beverages that go well with cigars! |

Tonight I decided to crack open this baby. An excellent cab wine. Nice depth and flavor. With wines I am not good at describing those warm and fuzzy feelings or reveiws. But anyway, this wine was excellent.
The entire Phelps line-up is very very good. The regular cab is also highly rated and it is much less expensive than the Insignia. The merlot is also great. Yeah, so I knocked off the bottle by myself and yes that was after having some Havana Club 15. Enjoy. Dr. X |

Drank too much and mis-typed -- it was the 96 Insignia.

Pre-98/pre el nino were great years for CA Cabs. Enjoyed a bottle of 97 Stag's Leap SLV the other night with some friends, a little young but still great. I really like the intense Cab fruit bombs from CA.

Don't know about the reds, but I used to be heavily into their Gewurztraminers and Rieslings.
Would love to go up to St. Helena and visit the source.
