Pendleton 1910 Rye
Never had a rye that I care for, they’ve always had an alchohol burn to them, but while in Canada…has a kittle bit of a bourban corn sweetness to it, but we like it. 👍🏼

Whiskey is like cigars.
I’m a fan of Knob Creek 100 rye, love me some Hochstedter Family, like Bulleit, often crave Saginaw Spirits Cask Strength, enjoy Whistle Pig Piggy Back, make old fashioneds with Old Overholt, and always have Sazerac on hand, but I’ve never had a Pendleton that didn’t taste like the used comb sanitizer from a skid row barber college. But that’s just me. Drink what you like!!! |

I've not had Pendleton, although I was a rye fan before I quit drinking. Templeton is always a crowd pleaser, even among non-rye lovers. I like the pepper and I think whiskey isn't worth drinking under at least 100 proof.

Don't know how widely distributed it is, but Still Austin makes a really good high-rye bourbon.
