The fact that they're swapping out the Solingen steel for the cheap Cinese equivalent was why I haven't sent them for repair. One of them is an heirloom of sorts. My girls gave me the redwood handled one for a Father's Day gift.

I bought my dad one of their pocket knives with the mammoth bone handle. He lost it.
