J. Fuego Gran Reserva Corojo No. 1 Grande, 6 1/2 x 58
This is a cigar that I reviewed several days ago, but I wasn't able to upload it until now. This is a huge cigars. Thanks to Mountchuck for sending this great looking cigar!
Appearance: Beautiful cigar. No major veins. Wrapper looks flawless. Prelight draw: very smoooooooth draw. Nice tobacco and cedar taste. First third: spicy flavors like you normally get from corojo wrappers. Nice woodsy flavors, very smooth and lots of smoke. Second third: Same as before, but I'm getting some good creamy notes. Its very nice. Just a very nice cigar. Last Third: Mmmmm....creaminess has intensified and the spicy has died down. Nuttiness on the aftertaste. Getting sad this one is ending. Overall: This is one one of the best cigars I've ever had. VERY nice smoke with good tobacco, woodsy, creamy taste. It just getting better and better as the cigar is smoked. The flavors don't change that much, but who cares? I'm nubbing this cigar, which I NEVER due. Its so good, I might even chew the nub like chewing tobacco. Score: 95/100 |
