He's right. Does the cutter feel as sharp as it should? connecticut can be pretty thin and brittle, too, but no, this shouldn't be a routine thing with a top grade cutter like that, and a good wrapper.

Dunno. as has been said, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and sometimes tears happen.
