SG "St. James Flake"
I bought a tin of this because I assumed it was the same as Laurel Flake (produce by SG for Knox Cigar). It is very similar, but subtly different.
The cut of each "slab" of the flake is thicker, and I believe there is a very slight casking not present in Laurel Flake. I am beginning to believe that, if you work for SG, you MUST cask the tobacco, or you are fired or kicked in the groin ... or both. It seems to be a rule or something. In any event, this is a damn fine tobacco, and is available from smokingpipes for $6.37 a tin. Not too shabby! I'll post a more extensive review when I've worked through a few bowls.
