Green coffee bean storage question
We finished our detached, insulated, but unheated garage this fall,
 so I moved my roasting, winter smoking operation, and bean supply out there. Our so-called winter has been really mild so far but I'm concerned about leaving the beans out there in extremely cold weather where they could possibly freeze. So far the lowest temp in the garage has been forty degrees, but like I mentioned it's been quite mild around here.My question is are there any ill affects to green beans that approach freezing temps, or would there only be a problem if they actually froze? |
