Inventory shout out thread

THIS IS NOT INTENDED AS A DICK-MEASURING CONTEST.

I'm just curious to see who has how many on-hand. And, no, I have not counted. All I know is that I have too many for two cabinets and have two overflows that are bursting at the seams.

Also, don't be shy if you're running low. Someone reading this thread might take measures to fix your problem...

It's funny how things go in cycles. I used to have 3 huge marine coolers and half a dozen humis running. Now I have one small unit with maybe 25 smokes in it. Since I relocated back to Texas, things have been tight. But, I've got a decent job interview for later this week and am looking forward to better times. Not a mooch, it's just the way things are. Life rarely follows the plan or more to the point Life always follows a plan, just not mine.

Cheers!

Late last year I bought a lot of non-Cuban grab bags at great prices. I have somewhere between 300-400 assorted cigars on hand at the moment. I'd like to maintain about a years supply.

I have way to many cigars, maybe 1000-1500. I have been giving them to Cigars For Warriors and. I have tried to back off buying cigars and I do well for a short time then I see a cigar I want to try. So I buy that cigar plus 3-5 others that I like. It's a sickness I tell you!

2 coolers, 3 desktop humidors.

However, I was running low and recently purchased 5 boxes of various domestics for spring time replenishment.

All told, probably around 400 cigars

2-30 qt coolers full of Habanos boxes and assorted singles both foreign and domestic. More than enough to last me the rest of my life without being bored.

I have an Aristocrat mini that has not been replenished in a while. I'm getting a little low. I probably have about 25-30 Cubans, and probably 100 NC's. But I just ordered 80 Oliva MB III's today (4 of the bundles of 20 on sale at Holt's).

When I first started smoking cigars I enjoyed trying new cigars and sought variety. But over the years that has changed. Maybe I'm just becoming an old man, but I'm finding that I just want to stick with the few cigars I really like, rather than trying new stuff. It's kinda like soda, or any beverage. If I'm drinking soda, it's almost always a Coke. Most people I know have a favorite beer and stick with it. In the future, I plan to stick with the three or four cigars I really like, rather than trying new things.

BTW, I've cut back on my cigar smoking somewhat. Part of that is because I don't seem to enjoy it as much as I used to and I think that's because it was becoming a habit. I wasn't smoking for pure pleasure. But also because I've started smoking pipes, which I've found to be different, but equally pleasurable. And a whole lot cheaper.

When I see this, I don't feel bad about having 4 coolers and a small fridge-a-dor.
