That would be really nice for six packs or maybe even cases of craft beer. Some of them are really pricey. Having the 750 beers is really good.

Must have brought the truck. Are you serious that these were dollar purchases? The Whistlepig by itself is worth more than the rest of the lot.

That didn't come out right. The Whistlepig is about a $90 bottle of rye. The value of that bottle alone could have paid for the rest of your purchases at a dollar each. You saved some massive coin.

J, the language on the flyers changed this year. It used to be $1 over cost. Now it says, "We drop the price to rock bottom and then raise it a dollar." I had to look closely for bargains this time. All of these prices are great when compared with regular Texas costs.

Forty Creek Barrel Select 1.75 x2 - $30.25 ea
Forty Creek Barrel Select 750 x2 - $14.50 ea
Sobieski Vodka 1.75 x2 - $16.65 ea

Whistlepig Rye 10yr - $55.75

Doug, I don't generally hit the single malt aisle, but I did look at a couple of comps.

Aberlour 18 - from $137.99 to 101.24
Aberlour a'Bunadh - from 106.99 to 79.96

Redbreast 15 Irish - from $113.99 to 85.18

Roger, even with that approach, you made out like a fucking bandit! So many on that list I would like to try that my liver is ready to raise a white flag.

The Aberlour 18 Year Old strikes me as the best buy of the trio you listed, Roger. Not to mention that it's quite the whisky!
