I am a huge Eric Clapton fan...

in April 1990 my girlfriend and I went to see Clapton at the Palace in Detroit...

He brought out SRV for two songs ... the first was Before you Accuse Me... Stevie kept taunting Eric on guitar...

The next song was After Midnight ... SRV kept taunting Eric ... I guess Eric had had enough , he basically blew Stevie away , Stevie took his guitar off , set it on stage and walked off...

4 months later Stevie died in the helicopter crash ...

I am so grateful I got to see SRV , even if it was briefly ...

Thats was the first song...

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. Incredible piece of work.
