Taking a glass humidor out of the house and in the sun (indi

I would like to get some feedback if there would really be an effect on the cigars if I took my humidor, glass 3 tier display type, out on our boat for the day?? The kicker is we live in AZ, and although the humidor wont be in "direct" sunlight it will be exposed to sunlight AND the air temp will be 100-112 degrees.
Would 6-8 hrs of this exposure have a drastic effect on my cigars ?? Would there be something you would recommend, besides lots of distilled water, to help maintain the humidity??
The reason for the whole humidor to go with us is because we are meeting up with a very large group of people and I'm in charge of providing the smokes, so I thought it would be easier to bring the whole thing then be short sticks.

Thanks for your input
