.........At one time JR was known for providing you with a good smoke at a good price. Lew Rothman didn't go big on peddling high end cigars, he made sure the everyday Joe had a good stick at a good cost. Now they peddle a bunch of crap. Even some of the brands that use to be good have changed. Years ago I use to think Connies were the best value in the business, today I think their terrible (mainly construction issues) The JR Alts, believe it or not, years ago were very good. NOT SO ANYMORE. I bought 2 bundles of a new brand that are exclusive to JR from Plasencia (Moroceli) Every single cigar is rolled too tight and unsmokable. Lew would offer you great deals on name brands, now you pay full price and they offer you gimmicks like beer can koozies, humi bags, bottle openers, cheap plastic cutters, ash trays, the list goes on and on. How about just giving us a good deal on a good decent cigars now and then, instead of trying to peddle the crap they can't sell. I sure do miss Lew and the old days!!!!!!
