Fisherman Pipe
Here's an old timer after a good refurb. The only stamp to ID the brand is "Fisherman". I picked this up on eBay for less than $10. Indicators lead me to believe it dates from around 1920. I know nothing about the brand. Could be American, English or French. Smokes really fine in any case.

Very nice, indeed. Most importantly, as you mentioned, it smokes fine! --RH

I came across this thread while searching past posts. The picture is not available anymore, but, I have a "Fisherman" pipe that I purchased way back when I was about 20 years old. My pipe has the initials "MC" embossed on the stem. On one side of the shank, it has "FISCHERMAN"(notice the spelling). This could be a Fischer brand pipe. On the other side it has "Algerian briar" and, bearly legible, "Made in France". I don't know if this is the same pipe that Xrundog was posting about, but I bet it is. Wish I had a picture.

Hi Jack, sorry this is so late. I purged my flickr account some time ago. Still some stuff there, but not much. I sold that pipe. But I checked my archives and found 2 photos. Damn photobucket now wants money to allow 3rd party posting so I simply don't do it anymore. But I can e-mail pics if you want. You can PM me the address. The pipe has a corkscrew stinger and a nickel plate band. Probably a 30s-40s pipe. And the shank does read Fisherman.
