.50 Cal Rolling Thunder Habano
Smooth medium brown wrapper with great Habano notes from the wrapper and foot. Perfect cold draw. Today’s beverage is a Karbach Hopadillo IPA.
This is a very smooth smoke, from the mouth feel to the retrohale . That is not to say that it is bland. Notes of cedar and leather blend nicely with the very fine tobacco flavors. It is also very well constructed with an even burn and a solid ash. A bit of black pepper develops in the retrohale during the first third. The smooth flavors continue with some build in intensity, but without being harsh. During the second third a toastiness also appears in the tobacco notes. This is a medium to full bodied cigar. The complexity is excellent. The burn has become slightly off of even, but not enough to bother with. Approaching the final inch the burn has self corrected. The smoke has warmed some, but a quick purge fixes it. I would definitely smoke this cigar again. 8.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
