This cigar has been in my humidor for 4 months.
Pre light - Nice looking maduro wrapper. No blems with some small veins. Taste - The cigar started out nice and smooth. It didn't taste like a Padron Anni, not enough depth. But I thought after the first few puffs this would be an 8 point cigar on a scale of 10. It was good with cedar and molassis. Medium to strong in strength.. By the 1" mark it picked up in strenth to strogn, but no real change in taste. At the 2" mark same thing. I became a little disappointed. Throughout the whole cigar the taste never changed. The cigar stayed smooth and never became harsh, but it became sort of ho-hum. I really thought at first this would become a good find. Oh well that is what experimenting is all about. Ash - Medium gray and firm. Ash didn't drop off until the 2" mark. Burn - Good no runs or problems. Overall a 6. If you want a cigar that says up front here is my taste, it's the same throughout this is the cigar for you. The PA is not a bad cigar, but nothing to write home about either, it's somewhere in between. I put the PA out at about the 1-1 1/2 inch mark. |
