It is a sad state in this country that this is the truth!!! Today's youth is so much more driven about appearances and labels than any other generation I can remember. I am really sad to see my nephews and nieces so driven by this. When gifts are open, my one niece doesn't ask who the gift was from but rather who made the gift to see whether it meets with her approval or not. She received a Dooney and B?? whatever purse for Christmas two years ago that cost well over $100.00. What a waste!!
