Workout music

Or, what's on your mp3 player?

I have a player that uses jump drive memory, so I keep a hand-full of 64Ms in the gym bag. They hold about 1 hour each.

Anyway, to the point; I find that for me the most effective workout music is either hard rap (NWA, Dre, Ice Cube/T, etc) or hard metal/thrash (Rammstein, Pantera, Damageplan, etc). The EFD they play at the health club is just utter crap.

When I get off my fat ass and workout, I almost always listen to Slayer.

I have a pretty wide variety but the majority is pretty heavy stuff. Some of the bands represented include:

Evergrey
Lacuna Coil
Fates Warning
Ministry
Morgana Lefay
Nevermore
Dream Theater
Stuck Mojo
Meshuggah
Manowar
Megadeth
Opeth

I do have some wus music for the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room though

I've never listened to music while running.....but I used to get cranked before a race by listening to a song by Patti Labelle....a song from the "Beverly Hills Cop" soundtrack.....uhhhh, "I get Excited"...or something like that?

Ok, I have to say that I would have never envisioned Jeff listening to hard rap.
