What's the difference between cigars?
I mean what makes one cigar have a certain flavor profile, and another cigar taste differently?
If I understand correctly...ALL cigars are made with tobacco?? I can understand that some cigars will have some variation in taste, and strength due to the regions the tobacco came from. Such as tobacco from Cuba, might impart a different flavor than tobacco from Nicarauga or Honduras. And of course, how long the tobacco has been aged, before being formed into a cigar. But assuming, we are talking about all hand-rolled, long filler cigars...how can they taste that different? It is all tobacco..right? Yet I read of notes of honey, of chocolate..of pepper. And I have actually tasted pepper in some cigars (don't care for it). Can't say I've ever actually tasted..other specific flavors. I'm just curious.
