Pretty good since many are applicable to personal experiences.

Part of why I smoke alone.

The other part of why I smoke alone is that most people think I'm a complete asshole and the feeling is mutual.

I knew a Chewer in New England. The guy always had a big RG Churchill sized stogie in his mouth from the time he left his home in the AM, until bed time 7 days a week. (according to him.) I just can't imagine how he stayed single for all of his life. How could All of the ladies miss a keeper like Big Jimmie? BTW, I think I saw a lit cigar, 2 maybe 3 times in 6 years. So, I think he loved the idea of cigars, more than than he actually loved to smoke cigars. It was like a prop or the image he chose for himself. Hey, everyone has their own deal I guess. If you've ever been to a Herf you've seen or know these 10 types of guy's. I liked the ending, "Don't Be That Guy."

I think there are a few more types out there. How about Mr. Nubber who smokes every single cigar down til he burns his fingers?

Who else did they miss?

Cheers!

I'm usually a Nubber. I just don't want the cigar to end. I remove the cigar band before I light up, so I always finish well past the bands location. I usually stop with a 1 inch nub. Of course, if the cigar starts to taste bitter, then I'll stop regardless of how much is left. But that rarely happens. I tend to smoke slowly, so the cigar doesn't overheat. Even with one inch left my cigars burn cool.

I thought they might cover the "snubber" who puts the cigar out in an ashtray like it's a cigarette instead of just letting it extinguish itself.

Oh, and the "talker" who clenches it between his teeth and talks.
Elaine on Seinfeld with a cigar in her mouth saying PEACH is classic.

Very similar to the "Expert" Is the "Snob" The Snob can be a single cigar brand snob like Cohiba's or the amazing $50 Ghurkas ( ) or something like that.

There's also the "Habanos Snob", "I only smoke vintage Cubans." If you can do that fantastic, that's great, well done you. But, the snob has to tell everyone about it and impress all within earshot with nuggets of trivia and minutia that could most likely never confirmed. Most real cigar guy's go through different stages and I've found the most knowledgeable individuals are not braggarts, quite the contrary.

But, the Poser Snob certainly does exist.

BTW Rob, I mean a Real Nubber. This guy finishes his cigars on a poker or a tooth pick, All of his Cigars. He get's every penny out of his smokes, good cigar or dog rocket. He's also known to harvest ashtrays. (theoreticly )

Who else?

Cheers!

I've only used a toothpick a handful of times over the years and that's only because the cigar was sooooo good that I didn't want it to end.
