Pointed vs. Rounded Tip
I guess this kind of follows suit with the box vs. round construction theme. Same question follows: Is this functional or aesthetic? What do you prefer and why?
I would think that a torpedo/belicoso would concentrate the smoke on your tongue more, but that is just me assuming. Further, I would have to assume that the exact same (blend, rg, length) cigar that is pointed vs. rounded would taste slightly different....or is that splitting hairs? I guess you could get into how the stick was cut, too, but I'm going for a simple example.
