Question About Pipe Tobaccy...

I don't post in here much... Due to the fact that I switch between cigars and my pipe from time to time... My question is, is it good to let the pipe tobacco dry out a little...

I usually keep the tobacco in the bags/tins, it comes in... I've noticed some of the tobacco is not as moist as it was when I first bought the tin or bag... I also know its usually good to age the pipe tobacco like it is cigars... But I dunno if its good to not keep it properly humidifyed...
